Acomplia

Acomplia (rimonabant) can be prescribed for patients whose earlier attempts to lose weight were unsuccessful and a more radical form of treatment is required. Make sure that you are not taking any of the following medications along with Acomplia unless your doctor specifically instructed you to do so: clarithromycin, epilepsy medicines, rifampicin, depression medicines, ritonavir, nefazodone, medicines for weight loss, medicines to improve blood lipids, telithromycin, diabetes drugs, ketoconazole, or itraconazole. The combination of these drugs can case unwanted side effects, so make sure in case you need to start some new kind of treatment you previously talk it over with the doctor that prescribed Acomplia. Also tell the doctor who is going to prescribe you some other medicine that you are currently taking Acomplia.
